‘Music As Therapy’ presentation at Bridges by EPOCH

On Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 8 a.m. Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will host the presentation, “Music As Medicine.” Saloni Malhotra, RN, BSN, HNB-BC, CCAP, Director of “Choice Therapies,” Life Choice Hospice will discuss the history of music for healing purposes. The presentation will explore how sounds, tones, frequencies and harmonics can be used for symptom management, either alone or as an adjunct. Social workers, geriatric care managers and nurses will earn 1 CEU for their attendance.The schedule is as follows:Breakfast: 8 a.m.Program: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
