Westford Health Department, partnering with Circle Health, the Upper Merrimack Valley Medical Reserve Corps and Westford Police Department, would like to invite families to a 'Children's Safety Event' this fall.
The Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation will be performing its award-winning educational program, Lil’ Iguana Live! on Wed, November 20, 2013 at 6:30 pm at the Blanchard Middle School.
Lil’ Iguana Live! is a 45-minute live stage show focusing on the importance of childhood safety and well-being through dance, storytelling, music, and role playing while featuring the costumed character, Lil’ Iguana. This highly interactive show reinforces crucial safety messages such as; "Street Smarts", "Wearing the Gear", Get Permission", "Take a Buddy with You", "Who is a Stranger" and "Run, Yell and Tell".
This event is free, open to the public and appropriate for families with children in grades preK - 2. Advance reservations are recommended, but not required. For more info or to register, call Westford Health Department at 978-692-5509 or email intothewoods3@comcast.net.
