Boys Of Few Words: Raising Our Sons To Communicate And Connect

Want A Better
Relationship With Your Son?

When your son responds to personal questions with a blank
stare, or quickly changes the subject, you might dismiss it as typical boy
behavior. Want your son to become a better communicator? And have a better
relationship with you? The Westford Parent Connection hosts Dr. Adam Cox on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 as he presents Boys Of Few Words: Raising Our
Sons To Communicate And Connect
. Drawing on his work from his book of
the same title, as well as On Purpose Before Twenty, Dr. Cox
helps boys of all ages and their parents work together to overcome innate brain
differences, social pressures, guardedness, and learning and attention issues
that often leave males at a communication disadvantage. Dr. Cox’s advice gives
parents the tools necessary to have close, loving relationships with their
sons, and to know deeply what is in their boys’ hearts and minds. Due to the
generosity of our sponsors, the event on April 16 is free and open to the
public. The talk begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Stony Brook Middle School
auditorium, 9 Farmer Way, Westford. For more information, go to http://www.dradamcox.com or www.westford.com/wpc/. For further
questions, contact Mary Anne Seraphin at mseraphin@comcast.net.
