A Century of Showtunes: The Chelmsford Community Concert Band

If you enjoy belting out showtunes, bring your best singing voice to the town green on Chelmsford Common Tuesday night at 7pm and join us in a celebration of a century's worth of show music.  Pull up a blanket or a folding chair on the grass and enjoy the Chelmsford Community Band's 42nd year of free summer music for the community.  Singing along is optional!

The band is a 60-piece ensemble of volunteers from Chelmsford, Westford, Lowell, Littleton, and many other communities.  Founded in 1972, it has been honored by invitations to perform in the Boston Festival of Bands in Faneuil Hall and the New Hampshire Band Festival, and recently sent a small ensemble to perform the National Anthem at the start of the June 24th Lowell Spinners game.
