Westford Drivers Heading to Groton Need Alternate Route on Saturday
The Groton Line reports that Route 40 will be closed this Saturday due to emergency replacements of culverts under the road.
Anyone looking to drive up Groton Road into, well, Groton, will have to find an alternate route this Saturday.
According to the Groton Line, a portion of Route 40 (known here in Westford as Groton Road, known as Lowell Road in Groton), will be closed due to emergency repairs on culverts under the road.

Detours will be placed nearby, and Westford residents can also still get to Groton Center from the south, via Route 225 in Forge Village.
