Public Acccess to Boys Camp at East Boston Camps Restricted Until End of August

Until the end of August, the Conservation Commission has leased the “Boys Camp” area of the East Boston Camps to the Marcus Lewis Day Camp, limiting access by area residents.

According to its website, this year the Guard Up camp, which had leased portions of the East Boston Camp, will be moving their various nerf-based camps this summer from the East Boston Camps to Reading.

Public access to the Boys Camp is restricted from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, although the public may use the trails and beach in the area.
