The Nabnasset Lake Preservation Association has issued a notice regarding a chemical treatment of Nabnasset Lake on July 10 to deal with nuisance aquatic vegetation and/or algae blooms.
The lake will be closed until July 11 at 8 a.m., with use of the water to be prohibited until that point.
Treatment will be done by Aquatic Control Technologies of Sutton,MA, who can be contacted at 508-865-1000. According to the notice, the work is being done in conjunction with a license from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
