#1. Want to Join the TREAD Committee?: There's two openings on the Tax Relief for the Elderly and Disabled Committee, better known as the "TREAD" Committee.

#3. Need Some Help Preparing for College?: 's got a class for that and three other subjects this summer. More information on the Westford Academy website.

#4. The Playoffs Begin Now: Westford Academy boys' volleyball has the seventh seed in the MIAA Division 1 North Sectionals and they'll be facing off against Methuen today at 4 p.m. at home.

The winner goes on to face Lawrence.

#5. Memorial Day on Sunday: In case you didn't notice all the flags on Main Street, Memorial Day is this Sunday, and things are going on town wide.

Ceremonies start at 9 a.m. on Forge Pond, moving up to the Forge Village Honor Roll on Prescott Street at 9:15, then at the Graniteville Monument and Parents' Market at 9:45, ending in Nabnasset at the corner of Oak Hill and Jo-Jo at 10:45.

There will also be a reading of the Honor Rolls on the Common at 10:45 and a parade from the Community Center to the Common at noon.
