My family, friends and I.. along with my son Drew are walking in our first Buddy Walk on Sunday, October 13th. It is the Massachusetts Down syndrome Congress' 17th Annual Buddy Walk & Family Festival that takes place on Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA.
It is the states largest public awareness platform to promote acceptance and inclusion of all people with Down syndrome.
We walk in support of my son Drew who was born in November 2012 and has Down syndrome. We are raising funds in these last days to support the MDSC, which is an organization that has been a great source of support and information for us from the day Drew was born.
