Boost Fitness Doing Their Part For Breast Cancer Awareness

All this month the club on Littleton Road here in Westford has been raising money to help fight the disease

 

Pink things are everywhere this month due in part to breast cancer awareness month, and Westford is no exception, particularly at Boost Fitness.

All this month, the club has been raising money to help fight the disease, as well as trying to raise awareness among their members with the introduction of new programs.

"We're just trying to do something different, I don't know of many other health clubs that do as much as us to get members involved," said club manager Nicholas Hermann. "Everybody knows somebody or was involved personally with some kind of cancer, and ultimately it's a health issue, which is what we're here to help people with in any case."

The club has been selling pink t-shirts at its locations in Westford and other parts of the state, with proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

They're also donating $1 to the foundation per every new like on their Facebook page this month.
