Scenes From The Unveiling of Westford's 9/11 Memorial

On the tenth anniversary of September 11, 2001, the town of Westford remembered two of its residents who died during the terrorist attacks of that day by commemorating a bench on the Town Common.

On Wednesday, Westford again honored the memory of that day by unveiling a monument between Town Hall and the Central Fire Station remembering all of Massachusetts' victims on that tragic day.

The unveiling of the monument, designed by Westford firefighter David Christiana, was accompanied by a list of local and state dignitaries who offered words of remembrance and inspiration surrounding the day 13 years ago when America changed forever.
