Parts of East Boston Camps Closed to the Public Through August

Through Aug. 22, the Conservation Commission has leased the main camp area of East Boston Camps, known as the “Boys Camp,” to Marcus Lewis Day Camp.

The leased area is shown as the cross-hatched area on this map.

On weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., public access to this area will be limited to passage over the main camp roadway (shown in red on the map).

However, before 8:30 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and for all day on Saturdays and Sundays the public may use all the trails and the beach in the area.
