Westford Patch reader Stephanie Sullivan sent in this picture of a big black bear that was taken at 4:45pm Tuesday, July 30.
Sullivan writes that the bear wandered across Village View Road, ate some berries. Looked at Sullivan and her daughter with no interest at all and wandered slowly up her neighbor's driveway. Sullivan says the bear apparently hung out in the neighbor's back yard for about 20 minutes and then continued up towards the back of the Village View neighborhood.
Village View is the neighborhood right behind the Forge Village baseball fields near the Franco off 225.
