As Much As Nine Inches Predicted For Westford on Tuesday Night

While Westford's Public Schools were able to get in a full day on Tuesday, it appears that the town is set to get another significant coverage of snow this evening.

As of approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the Weather Channel is predicting a maximum of 8 inches, with Accuweather predicting a maximum of 6 inches, and the National Weather Service saying up to 9 inches of snow accumulation is possible.

Earlier in the day, the Westford Recreation Department announced early release for after school programs and Nashoba Tech announced a 10 a.m. release.

Slick roads have caused problems for drivers, including a crash around 6:30 near the intersection of Tadmuck Road and Main Street for what is believed to be two vehicles, one of them delivering pizza.

UPDATE: Nab's One Stop in Nabnasset closed early on Tuesday and the concert at the Westford Museum has been postponed. If you have a store closure or event cancellation you'd like to share, please make sure to put it on our boards section!
