Westford Local Beckett Azevedo in The Learned Ladies

Natick, MA – Beckett Azevedo of Westford, MA will play the featured role of wise Ariste in Walnut Hill School for the Arts’ winter production of Molière’s The Learned Ladies this December.

The Learned Ladies pokes fun at the pretentiousness of academia and the conflicting views of a woman’s place in the world. At the center of the play is a mother desperately trying to convince both of her daughters to strive for a life of the mind, rather than typical domestic pursuits. Each character in this world is a living, breathing embodiment of the question, “what is the right relationship between art and learning and everyday life?” Walnut Hill’s production will be directed by Steve McConnell of the Boston Conservatory and performances will be held on December 12, 13 &14 at 8:00pm at Studio 5 in Walnut Hill’s Dance Center in Natick, MA.
