In the opening round tournament, the ghosts had a season ending 3-2 loss against Bishop Fenwick on the road last Friday. The ghosts had been leading the entire game 2-0 until the bottom of the seventh inning. With two outs, Bishop Fenwick got a 2 run homerun to tie the game and three singles to score the winning run. WA got on the board early with  lead off batter, sophomore Kayla Murphy hitting a single to start off the game. Alexa Sullivan (2 for 3) hit a double to center, which scored Murphy. Meagan Scannell blasted a single to score Sullivan and the ghosts led 2-0. The score remained the same with both teams able to put players on base, but not able to get a player to cross the plate. Emily Chateauneuf (1 for 4) hit a single and Kaleigh McHugh also contributed two hits for the offense. Christie Raymond pitched 6 and 2/3 innings, giving up 6 hits, 3 runs, walking 2 and striking out 3.
