Beat those Winter Blues! Join Us!

The Westford Academy Athletic Booster Club will be hosting the "Chase the Winter Blues Away:  An evening of music, good food, and great friends" with music by popular DJ John Kelly, on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Chelmsford Elks (7:30 p.m.) All are welcome!  Please join us for a fun filled evening with all the music you love provided by DJ John Kelly, delicious appetizers, cash bar, and a silent auction.  Everyone needs something to look forward to in the middle of our long New England winters.  Why not grab a group of friends and join us for a fun filled evening?  Tickets will be on sale at Westford Academy during Friday night basketball games, or by emailing WABoosters@msn.com,  SMHanly@earthlink.net or Milletfam@comcast.net. This event benefits the WA Athletic Boosters, a 501(c)3(c) organization that supports all of the athletes at WA by purchasing all of the Varsity letters, pins and plaques and the DCL/State Champion banners,  The Boosters also fulfill coaches' requests that cannot be met with the Athletic Director's budget, host an annual Senior Athlete Banquet, and award scholarships to deserving senior athletes.  In June 2013, 32 $600 scholarships were awarded.
