Here are a few things you need to know right now in Westford:

  • Snow is likely in the morning, anywhere from one to three inches, with fog in the morning too. Temperatures will be in the low 20s but feel like it is below zero, due to wind chill factors. Wind gusts could reach as high as 39 mph. Overnight, lows will drop down into the single digits, with a wind chill factor again. The sun returns tomorrow.
  • If you have a library card and like indie films, the Fletcher Library has a free service where you can stream independent films, shorts, and documentaries, all for free. Check out indieflix, at the library’s website, which has more than 3,000 films listed online.
  • Do you own a business in town? Let our readers know about your products and services. Post a short brief and a picture in the Business Updates section of Patch and our readers will know all about the great things your company is doing.

Just biding my time in this here blue state; headed to some red states soon: plains, cattle guards, grain elevators, barb wire, red rock, tall trees and cactus. No pavement, just big valleys of sage and sand. Goodbye snow shovel.
