Mosquito Spraying in Neighborhood Near Rita Miller School After Tyngsboro EEE Horse Death

Following reports a recent EEE horse death in Tyngsborough, the Westford Board of Health has authorized the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project (CMMCP) to spray for mosquitoes near the Rita Miller School area on Thursday evening.

Residents in the area are advised to close windows, turn off air conditioners and keep pets indoors once the spraying begins after sunset.

Anyone in Westford can opt out of this spraying as well as future sprayings by calling the CMMCP at 508-393-3055.
