Monday Essentials: Prepare For Special Town Meeting With The League of Women Voters This Week

Hey Westford! Here's some things going on this week in town.

Wine and Nibbles on Thursday

Stop by Art on Main at 5 p.m. on Thursday for quality local artwork and some free food.

This week, Art and Main welcomes their October guest artist, Chris Daley. 

Also on Thursday...

The League of Women Voters will host a review of the upcoming Town Meeting warrant at 7 p.m. in the J.V. Fletcher Library's downstairs meeting room.

John the Westford LWV's Laura Dickey (pictured) and others for a discussion on a variety of topics that voters will have to act upon at this fall's Town Meeting on Oct. 21. 

Did You Miss Our Welcome to Westford's New School Food Service Director?

Well, don't worry. You can meet Colleen Wallace in person on Tuesday in an event hosted by the Westford Healthy Kids Coalition.

The event is at 7 p.m. at the J.V. Fletcher Library.

It's The Funfest!

On Saturday at 11 a.m., stop on by Kimball Farms for the annual Westford Fall FunFest and parade.

The event lasts until 4 p.m., and there will be pumpkin decorating, karate demonstrations, special goody bags for the first 100 children in attendance and much more. 

All proceeds go to the Roudenbush Community Center, Westford Historical Society, Westford Against Substance Abuse (WASA), Westford Kiwanis and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell.
