Hello There, Westford Bear

There have been a number bear sightings recently in Westford including Villanova Drive. Westford Patch reader Patti took this picture this morning (March 7) and sent it to Patch. Another reader noted on our Facebook site that she saw a bear earlier this week on Plain Road, right near by Villanova Drive. It could be the same one but usually, with bears, where there is one, there are more.

It should not be a big surprise to see bears and other creatures out and about in early March, especially since that neighborhood is near a number of conservation areas.

Last week, a reader on Morrison Lane, on the north end of town, took pictures of bobcats frolicking in her yard.
