Partly Sunny Skies Today

Temperatures should reach a high today of 80 degrees. It will, however, be partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of isolated thunderstorms. Not perfect, but still a nice opportunity to enjoy the last days of summer.

Farmer's Market Still Going Strong

As the fall season approaches, the Westford Farmer's Market is still yielding a variety of fresh produce, including many fall specialties, as well as offering fun, free activities for children and live music. The summer may be ending, but the market remains a valuable food and entertainment resource for Westford families. The Westwood Farmer's Market is located on the Town Common, and is held every Tuesday from 2:30-6:30 p.m.

"Chicago" Auditions Start Today

Auditions for the hit Musical Chicago begin today with the Nashoba Players. Prepare 16 bars of an upbeat song to sing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 3, 4, and 5, at 7:30 p.m., at the Westford PCA, 10 Lincoln St. You will also be asked to do a cold reading and learn a short dance. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a show with a dazzling score and signature Bob Fosse choreography.

Mangia No More

Fans of Mangia Mangia Italian Grille will have to find another solution for their Italian food craving. The popular eatery has closed its Westford doors and according to its website, customers are being asked to visit the establishment's Billerica location. All gift cards will be honored in Billerica, at 430 Boston Rd. (Rte. 3A).

In Case You Missed It

The Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk will be held this Sunday, Sept. 8, walking the 26.2 Boston Marathon route, beginning at the starting gate in Hopkinton. Visit the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk to register, contribute or sponsor a participant.
