Early childhood programs of towns in our region have come together to bring Dr. Peter Gray, Professor Emeritus at Boston College Dept of Psychology, to speak on Thursday November 8 at Karen Shalom, 659 Elm Street in Concord at 7:00 pm. This is a free talk for parents of children between the ages of 3 and 12 years, titled “What Have We Done to Childhood?” Dr. Gray will present evidence from the research that children’s playfulness and curiosity are powerful vehicles for education if allowed to function effectively.
