Blanchard Theatre Arts presents “All Shook Up”, a musical comedy featuring songs made famous by Elvis Presley and performed by Blanchard Middle School students from Westford. Taking place in the mid-1950s, “All Shook Up” tells the tale of a small town girl falling for a leather-jacketed, hip-swiveling, guitar-playing roustabout and how the power of rock and roll transforms a community.
Performances of this delightful musical will be held at the Katie Enos Performing Arts Center at Blanchard Middle School, 14 West Street, Westford on Friday, November 30 at 7pm and on Saturday, December 1 at 2pm and 7pm. General admission tickets are $8 for evening performances and $5 for the matinee and will be sold at the door. Children ages 5 and under are free. For more information, call 978-692-5582.

More About Blanchard Middle School
Named after longtime Westford educator Lloyd G. Blanchard, Blanchard Middle School educates students in grades 6-8. In addition to offering a wide array of classes, Blanchard gives students other unique opportunities, including a ski club, student council, and award-winning singing group. Lloyd G. Blanchard was Westford's superintendent for a quarter-century. According to the school's website, Blanchard targeted "middle-level education ... that focused on the unique developmental, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of this population." The current principal at Blanchard Middle School is Rose Vetere.
