My wife and I have been enjoying the walking trails, the scenery and meeting all kinds of dogs ( we are dog people ) for many years now. Always look forward to the seasons changing and the colorful changes the woodlands have to offer. When we stopped last week to take our dog for a walk, we were greeted by this nasty pile of junk. In fact it was an old profane old swing set. It must have happened sometime Sunday night since we walked that morning. I was appalled that someone would do that and do that to a great place like EBC. Each day this week we went down to walk our dog and each time we were greeted by this nasty pile. Apparently, no one was doing anything about it and nobody was saying anything, at least as far as I know but I was not going to let this go. Today I had enough. I called 1-800-GOT-JUNK and in an hour, they removed the junk and the trail head was once again cleared. I paid for it myself and I will try to get the money back from the town but something tells me I am not going to see a dime of it. Regardless, I took action and I hope everyone that walk the trails are happy to see the junk gone. I know I am.

I think the caretaker who is paid by taxpayers to do this job clearly shirked his duty, and he should be the one to reimburse Mr. Reid for having to do his job for him.
