Zuken Announces Release of New Circuit Board Module

Zuken's new Power Integrity Advance module will help circuit board designers.

Last week Zuken, a company located in Munich and Littleton Road here in Westford, announced a new tool related to behavior in power distributions systems called Power Integrity Advance.

According to Zuken's statement, the tool is aimed toward ensuring the correct behavior of power distribution systems embedded with design flow for CADSTAR, a computer program that regulates the design flow of printed circuit boards.

Power Integrity Advance marks the latest module roll out for CADSTAR version 13.0 and will help protect what are increasingly more complicated circuit boards, it's believed that the module will help circuit board designers with issues with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Analysis.

”With the number of pins on devices increasing to more than 1,000, and differing power supply voltages playing an important role, designers face the constant challenge of handling increased power consumption," says Jeroen Leinders, CADSTAR distribution manager. "It’s now more important than ever to be able to accurately analyze the design of power distribution early on to prevent later failures.”

More information on the module and other Zuken products can be found on their website.
