A snow storm will roll into Eastern Massachusetts Monday afternoon and continue through Tuesday morning, dumping a few inches of snow in the area.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for much of Massachusetts beginning Monday afternoon -- though it was just a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Westford as of Sunday night. The heaviest snow will be along the coast of Massachusetts, where 4 to 8 inches of snow could fall, but the storm watch includes the cities of Boston and Cambridge.

Further inland, snowfall is expected to between 1 to 3 inches, according to the forecast by WHDH Channel 7.
