The National Weather Service has announced a Winter Weather Advisory for Western Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire until 1 a.m. on Friday morning.

Some areas may accumulate 2 to 4 inches of snow along with ice along with possible freezing rain. Winds are expected to reach an average of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts going up to 40 mph.

Here in Westford, rain and wind will dominate in the morning with temperatures in the 40s, with possible snow later in the evening.
