Who's Running For Town Office So Far?
Westford's Town Election isn't until May 1, but a few people have pulled papers to run so far.
There is still time until Westford's town election isn't until May 1, but a few residents have pulled papers to run for office so far.
The Planning Board and Housing Authority seats are five year terms and the other positions are three year terms.
All of the candidates below are incumbents with the exception of Matt Lewin and Terence Ryan. So far all incumbents with expiring terms have pulled papers with the exception of School Committee member Kenneth Teal.
Candidates are required to obtain signatures from 50 Westford residents to have the papers certified, so far only Prasad Vasiraju and Matt Lewin have done so.
The deadline to return signatures to the town clerk's office on the first floor of Town Hall is Mar. 13 at 5 p.m.
