Westford Academy's Connor Peacock became MIAA Division 1 North sectional champion in the 120 pound division last weekend in Chelmsford.

The championship win over Billerica's Nick DeRosa brought Peacock's record to 32-3 on the year and earned him the title of Most Outstanding Wrestler award for the tournament, the first time a Westford Academy wrestler has earned that title since joining Division 1.

Peacock will now join fellow Grey Ghosts Nate Tashjy, Dan Cerullo, Kyle Boyd and Tommy McDonough at the MIAA Division 1 State Championship on Saturday, Feb. 11 in Weymouth.
