Westford Patch has been told that at approximately 11:41 a.m. on Thursday, workers hit a gas line at Westford Plaza, necessitating an evacuation of the building.
National Grid has shut off gas to the building and doors are being opened to air out the building.
We will attempt to obtain more information as it becomes available.
UPDATE: Half of the plaza is now safe for reoccupation as of approximately 12:30 p.m.
