Westford Community Access Television, better known as Westford CAT, gathered at their studios on Groton Road to commemorate what Westford CAT president Ira Keltz described as a significant year of growth for the organization.

Members of the audience were asked for ideas on how to improve the station over the next year while also receiving news that Nashoba Valley Technical High School may increase its presence with the station.

The meeting's annual election saw changes on the group's board of directors as Kurt Carlson stepped down while Debbie Ryan returned for another term.

Keltz and members of the board also voted to leave spaces open for potential future liasons from the School Committee and Westford Academy.

Following the formal ceremony and an award given to volunteer cameraman Charles Stark, those in attendance gathered in the editing studio for a presentation on what makes good informational slides during periods in between shows as well as a look at Geoff Hall's new show and a quick presentation on how to edit with Flipcams and iMovie.

More information on Westford CAT is available on their website.
