The Grey Ghosts field hockey team begins their post-season tomorrow with a 2:15 p.m. contest at home against Dual County League rival Lincoln-Sudbury.

Westford clinched an eighth seed in the Divison 1 North Sectional Tournament with wins over Lincoln-Sudbury, Bedford and Wayland and ties with Concord-Carlisle and Weston.

However, the Ghosts (11-2-5) couldn't grab the regular season league title from Acton-Boxborough, who also gave Westford their last loss on Sept. 10.

Acton-Boxborough has the third seed in the sectional and will face the winner of the Central Catholic vs. Concord-Carlisle contest, but wouldn't be able to face Westford again unless both teams met in the sectional finals.
