Two Motor Vehicle Arrests On Friday

The following information was supplied by the Westford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are entries from the Westford Police log for September 2,3 and 4.

Friday, September 2

7:43 p.m – David Robbins, 46, 42 Lake Shore Dr. North, was arrested while driving on Route 495 North for a marked lane violation and operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor.

10:04 p.m --  Kimberly Hubbard, 31, 12 Sunrise Ave. in Billerica, was arrested shortly after running  through a traffic signal on Boston Road on a previous warrant for her arrest not specified in the log. In addition to the previous warrant, she also faces charges for ignoring the traffic light and operating a motor vehicle after her license was revoked.

Friday , September 2

Police on traffic detail were certainly busy on Friday. In addition to the two motor vehicle related arrests, officers also responded on violations on Russell’s Way (4:16 p.m.,) West Prescott Street (9:04 p.m.) and the corner of Tyngsboro Road and Groton Road (10:28 p.m.)

No further action was taken on the Russell’s Way stop, while action was referred to another agency not mentioned in the log after the West Prescott Street stop and a search of the vehicle involved in the Tyngsboro/Groton Road stop proved negative.

Saturday, September 3

Despite a respite from any rush hour traffic, Littleton Road was the source of more traffic related issues once again.

Officers responded to a crash at 6:52 p.m, followed by another driver engaged in a motor vehicle violation just over an hour later.

A search of the car during the motor vehicle violation proved negative, and there were no injuries during the earlier crash.
