Hello Westford! Today we combine three answers to questions from Westford Patch readers about a single topic, one of the biggest topics of discussion in town right now: Cornerstone Square.

#1. Will there be outdoor seating for restaurants at Cornerstone?

Yes, currently all restaurants are expected to have outdoor seating capacity. A special dispensation from state laws regarding town liquor license quotas has also been brought into the Massachusetts State Legislature just for Cornerstone restaurants.

#2. Will there be a new traffic light due to Cornerstone?

Yes, the new traffic light will installed on Littleton Road near the current location of Eastern Bank.

#3. Will there be an aerial traffic bridge over Littleton Road?

There are currently no plans for an aerial traffic bridge over Littleton Road, although there will be crosswalks near the traffic light on Littleton Road, with the crosswalk across the entrance to Cornerstone at the traffic light being modified on Monday (see picture).

Looking forward to the outdoor seating. I think I saw plans for a bike lane in the Route 110 improvement plan. Will Cornerstone have bike lanes and parking racks? A pedestrian/biking bridge could be a real draw - what a great idea!

Disappointing list of stores, restaurants. It's the same old, same old. How about a trader joes, whole foods, Eddie Bauer, barnes and nobles?

Not my problem. I do all my shopping in Littleton, Concord and Pheasant Lane Mall area in S. Nashua tax free NH. What's wrong w a WalMart or a Target for Westford? And if town 's gonna subsidize/supervise these CS developers, why not invest in a sidewalk on Boston Rd, connecting Westford Center w retail area for walking instead of gridlock? Hello!
