Yesterday we asked you to send in pictures of how much snow you got outside your house, and shortly after that Patch went around Westford and took some measurements of our own.
Here's what we found, based on averages from several measurements at each location.
| Location | Inches |
| Ninety Nine Restaurant | 22 |
| Roudenbush at Old Nab | 22 |
| J.V. Fletcher Library | 21 |
| Jack Walsh Field | 21 |
| Westford House of Pizza Plaza | 20.5 |
| Westford Academy | 20 |
| St. Catherine's | 20 |
| Stony Brook Acres | 18 |
| Spinner's | 18 |
| Stony Brook School | 15 |
What was the amount at your house? It's not to late to submit your pictures, or, if you prefer, let us know in the comments!
Thanks. We'll email you the next time we update this story.

I found because of the wind I couldn't really tell how much snow I got. At least 2 feet plus but not sure. Within an hour of shoveling my walk it was covered again

Wow -- if you read the map and not the chart, the snow totals look quite incredible -- 22 feet at the 99, 15 at Stony Brook, etc.
For future reference, we usually use a single prime for feet ('), a double prime for inches (").

Sorry, technical error with the maps. Blame google for this one. Fixing now.

On Providence Road I had 20" when I got up Saturday morning.
And yesterday I measured a 43" icicle outside the kitchen window! It's gotten bigger so will re-measure later

Be careful of that icicle! They can be very dangerous when the fall. And, if you already have that much ice hanging from your drip edges, you either are using heating wires to let water off the roof or you have insufficient insulation in the attic. I know I have the latter on one section of my house but I didn't have that kind of ice so soon. Fortunately, today's warmer weather will allow whatever water runs out from under the snow to just drip to the ground. Cold weather causes that water to freeze as soon as it is exposed to air at the roof's edge and causes ice dams to build up. That can lead to serious water damage inside the house.
