Selectmen to Discuss Keno at the Willows
The topic of Keno is one of several topics on the Selectmen's agenda this Tuesday night.
The Westford Board of Selectmen are slated to discuss allowing Keno at Willows Pizza in Nabnasset (pictured) this Tuesday, potentially making it the first restaurant in Westford to have the game.
Run by the Massachusetts State Lottery, Keno can currently be found in Westford at Spinner's Market, the Franco-American Club, Healy Post #159 in Graniteville, the Fletcher Social and Athletic Club, Nabnasset Lake Country Club, Tedeschi's on Main Street and in Nabnasset, and Towne Convenience on Groton Road.
Keno-To-Go is also available at Cumberland Farms, Mobil-on-the-Run, Nab's One Stop Shop, Rapid Refill, Gulf, and Westford Market and Liquors.
In addition to that, here are some more things being discussed by Westford's town boards this week, as well as some things they talked about last week.
- On Wednesday night, the Westford Conservation Commission will discuss issues related to the oil spill at the East Boston Camps late last year.
- The Vose Parcel will be on the docket for the Tax Possession Sale Committee once again on Thursday night
- Further discussion on the entranceway signs for Cornerstone Square was postponed at last week's Planning Board meeting due to the lack of a full board. The topic will likely be brought up again at the board's July 16 meeting.
Westford residents interested in applying for an appointed board are encouraged to fill out application sheets at the Citizen Activity section of the Westford town website.

Let people play what they want where they want. This freedom thing seems to be a problem for some government officials and others. Beyond me why.

Why should I care what other folks want to do with their time or money?
