Police Seeking Public's Help in Hunt for Break In Suspect

The suspect was a 5"5 white male in his 40s.

The Westford Police Department announced on its Facebook page this morning that they are seeking the public's help in apprehending a break in suspect from earlier this month.

On Friday, Oct. 12 at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers responded to a home near the corner of Chamberlain and Lowell roads after a homeowner reported noises at her door and discovered an unknown man in her kitchen.

The man, pictured in a police rendering, was approximately 5"5 and in his 40s, driving a tan or brown minivan.

It is unclear from the announcement if this incident has any connection to the "Beanie Man" break ins in that area several months ago.

Anyone with information on the individual is asked to contact Westford Police detective at 978-692-2161 or by e-mail at mfurlong@westfordma.gov.

Residents can also contact the general tip line at 978-692-2161 or by e-mailing detectives@westfordma.gov
