Wednesday, March 28

It was a busy early morning on Littleton Road for the Westford Police. There was surveillance of a motor vehicle at 12:31 a.m., surveillance of a suspicious individual at 12:46 a.m., and securing an unsecured building at 2:38 a.m.

Thursday, March 29

9:49 a.m. – Kruise Herring-Delgado, 23, 31 Merrill St. in Lowell, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop. Herring-Delgado faces charges of alleged operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operation of a motor vehicle not bearing an inspection sticker.

Follow Up

March 15, 4:33 p.m. – A woman came into the Police Station stating that someone attempted to cash a check from an account she had recently closed.

The woman’s pocketbook was stolen from the Westford Racquet and Tennis Club a month earlier and it contained several credit cards and her checkbook.

An officer on duty told the woman that if the check originated from Westford, charges would be filed, and that charges should be filed with another police department if the check cashing attempt occurred elsewhere.

March 20, 2:55 p.m. – Concerns from a manager at CVS at Westford Valley Marketplace 2 arose after an older gentleman wearing a suit, attempted to buy a flat screen television and several gift cards with a pre-paid Green Dot credit card.

The manager informed the man, who produced a Florida driver’s license, about the company policy stating that CVS could not accept the Green Dot cards for the purchase of gift cards, and that customers are limited to only one transaction a day of over $1,000.

According to the report, there had been recent attempts to circumvent these policies in Lawrence and Haverhill, and the manager was informed that the older man was seen during the Lawrence incident, where he allegedly was able to use the credit card to purchase $2,000 of gift cards in what was described as an error on the part of the Lawrence manager, according to police.

Before police arrived, the older man and the manager argued for several minutes until the manager began calling the police, at which point the older man started walking toward Chipotle, leaving the credit card at CVS.

The older man could not be found following the incident in Westford and it has not been determined whether or not the charges in Lawrence were fraudulent.

March 24, 11:06 p.m. – Police were dispatched to the Franco-American Club for reports of loud music from a neighbor. The patrolman on the scene indicated she could not hear any loud music upon arrival, but the neighbor said it had been turned down and she was going to sell her house due to the issue, as it had been an ongoing problem.
