Wednesday, Sept. 12
11:59 a.m. – Travis MacDonald, 30, 843 Boston Rd. Apt. C in Groton, was arrested followed a motor vehicle crash on charges of alleged marked lane violations and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
MacDonald was not injured, although the log indicated that this was his second OUI charge.
8:07 p.m. – Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at Westford Academy. No injuries were reported.
Aug. 31, 2:06 a.m. – An officer encountered a young man riding a skateboard on Moore Avenue and asked if he could talk to him. The young man agreed, and told the officer that he wanted to go far away from Westford, as he believed his girlfriend had been cheating on him.
At that point, the skateboard decided to stop talking to the officer and skated away. The officer checked after the skater left and saw that he was not associated with any outstanding warrants.
Sept. 8, 1:57 a.m. – Police spotted a young man in front of Market Basket and asked why he was there. Apparently, the young man said he was resting after walking for approximately 90 minutes from the Friendly’s in Chelmsford, where his friend’s truck broke down, on his way back to Littleton.
The young man told the officer that his cell phone had died, so the officer called the young man’s father, who later picked him up at the Gulf station.
