New Italian Inspired Restaurant at Cornerstone Square Opening Soon
Evviva Cucina, an "Italian-inspired pizza bar and kitchen", will look to provide Westford with a unique and enjoyable dining experience according to general manager Nick Harron.
Have you ever wanted traditional Italian fare alongside pizza that has hot dogs as a topping? Are you looking for a restaurant that hopes to provide locally sourced food but can get you in and out during a lunch hour? Do you need a restaurant with all these things located right next to Minot’s Corner? If so, Nick Harron thinks he has just the place for you.
Evviva Cucina, Harron’s new “Italian-inspired pizza bar and kitchen” located in Cornerstone Square, is looking to provide a unique experience for everyone from parents and professionals on the go to folks looking for a fun place to hang out or enjoy a mix of traditional and trendy takes on classic Italian comfort food that includes natural ingredients from local and regional sources.
“What we saw in people’s needs when it comes to a restaurant is to provide an environment where a person can get food quickly without sacrificing quality,” says Harron. “It’s tough for people to go out in a cost effective way and find a fun, family restaurant environment.”
Hoping to build on his seven years of experience running several Burton’s Grill locations across Massachusetts and other parts of the country, Harron has spent the last year planning the new restaurant, which he says will be the only one of its kind anywhere, influenced in part by its unique architecture within Cornerstone itself.
“Usually when a restaurant opens, it’s within a slab box. This is a beautiful space, and this has definitely been a growing process for me both in terms of the location and everything else,” says Harron. “It’s amazing seeing everything coming together from constructing the menu, to watching the building rise up from little more than a piece of dirt.”
Indeed, Westford was just one of the possible locations for the new restaurant, but Harron believes that the combination of Cornerstone’s location along with the appetites of Westford’s consumers will provide him success.
“Westford is unique. It’s not saturated with restaurants, but its consumers are very selective in what they want, and I think we can offer them what they’re looking for,” he said.
The restaurant, which will have 152 seats and a 31-seat bar with a variety of draft beers, wines by the glass and seasonal cocktails. However, Harron that despite the restaurant’s intended flexibility, it’s not aiming to have a “bar-like” atmosphere.
“We’re not trying to be everything to everybody,” he says. “But what we will do, we’ll do very well.”
Evviva Cucina is slated to open on March 18. More information can be found on the restaurant’s website.

How does a high-end pizza restaurant make Westford into the new Maynard? This comment is even more baffling when you consider the dives that were here for years. Have you forgotten:
The Tiki Lau?
Ye Olde Beef and Ale?
Rancho de Amigos?
or, fer cryin' out loud....the Applebees?
Equating the number of liquor licenses with the quality of the town is just silly.

Finally Westford has a Restaraunt that offers good Italian fare and gourmet style pizza at reasonable prices. Will definitely go back....acoustically loud the space has an impressively big bar and excellent Italian appetizers. The wait staff is accomodating and attentive without being intrusive...... Would love to see them offer Sicilian style pizza with fresh ingredients.
