The weather's slowly getting warmer, here's some places you can send your kids nearby Westford this summer.

Camp Allen

Type: Developmental disabilities and outdoor challenges
Dates: 5 & 10 day sessions, June 12-August 26
Details: Camp Allen provides opportunities for growth, friendship and fun for children and adults with developmental disabilities and other challenges in an outdoor environment.  The ratio of counselor to camper is 1:2 and a 1:1 is available.

Camp Nashoba

Camp Thoreau

Type: Traditional day camp
Dates: 2 week sessions, June 24-August 23
Details: Mornings are filled with engaging instructional programs such as Red Cross swim lessons and archery. Campers choose how they want to spend their afternoons by signing up for hobbies (or electives). Some hobbies include candle making, hip-hop dancing and ultimate frisbee.

Camp Kettleford

Details: Camp Kettleford focuses on building community, creating connections and helping girls gain independence. Campers participate in general program activities such as swimming, boating, arts, drama, games and outdoor cooking.

Marcus Lewis Day Camp
Location: The Marcus Lewis Day Camp is moving from Devens to Westford as their new home beginning in 2013. The address is 66 Depot Street on the site of East Boston Camps.
Type: Day Camp; Ages 3-16; Grades PreK-11th
Dates: June 24-August 23
Details: Campers can specialize in artistic, athletic and even technology-based activities that are specifically aligned with their own interests. We offer a beautiful woodland setting and waterfront along with more than 100 rotating activities that are available at different times during the summer, all taught by professionals. Our 5:1 camper/counselor ratio is based on personnel over the age of 18, not counselors-in-training. We offer 15 specialty programs including: horseback, watersports, laser tag, cooking, golf, computer gaming, and remote-controlled racing!
