Dec. 15, 11:38 p.m. - A patrolman was requested at the Westford Regency after a fight was reported by security staff on site.

Upon arrival, the patrolman identified two individuals engaged in the alleged fight.

The pair came to the Regency for a Christmas party when the first man saw the second man sitting at the bar talking to his wife and began to yell at him along with another individual.

Then the first man accused the second man of making unwanted sexual advances on the wife, which the second man denied.

At this point, the staff asked both men to leave and return to rooms they were renting at the hotel, with the first man punching the other man in the face in the hotel elevator

Two bartenders confirmed the behavior of the first man before the two men left to their rooms.

According to the first man, the other man attacked him on the way back to the room and he was just defending himself.

No charges were filed according to the report.

Dec. 26, 11:09 p.m. – A resident on North Main Street called police after a vehicle hit a guard rail near his house.

According to testimony from occupants of the vehicle, the car slid due to snow, which was coming down at the time, and the vehicle was going at approximately 20 mph.

There were no injuries and no occupants of the vehicle were intoxicated. The car was towed by Sully’s.

Dec. 31, 12:25 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to Spinner's after trouble with a ID card during an alcohol transaction.

A customer called police after he was asked to return his purchase as he was leaving the store.

According to the clerk on duty, the customer's driver's license came back as expired, but he had a valid military identification. However, after the purchase was completed, the customer's military license also came back as flagged according to the report.

The officer determined both forms of identication to be authentic and the customer obtained a refund from the clerk.

Spinner's lost its take-out liquor license for three Mondays in October 2012 by a 4-0 vote of the Board of Selectmen after it was determined that the store sold alcohol to a minor.
