Girl Found Unconscious at Nashoba Ski Area

The event occurred on Sunday morning in the terrain park area.

 

The Boston Globe, WCVB, and other news outlets are reporting that a 14-year-old female was involved in accident on Sunday morning at Nashoba Valley Ski Area.

Officials at the resort say that the girl was snowboarding in the terrain park area and was found quickly by the ski patrol.

Shortly afterward, a medical helicopter evacuation was provided for the girl, where she was transported to Children's Hospital in Boston.

my son said he saw it happen from the chairlift. been trying to find an update on the girls condition. i hope she is going to be ok. prayers going out to her and her family. how scary! please keep us posted so I can hopefully ease his (and my) mind. thanks!

Update: I heard she is going to be ok. She suffered small fracture on her forehead, regained consciousness that night & was home from the hospital on Tuesday. Yay!
