If there's one thing we all know, it's that the Grey Ghosts can eat. And eat they did yesterday in a feast put on by the Westford Academy Boosters and several local eateries.

Stay tuned to our Twitter Page for quarter-by-quarter updates from the game today in Acton as well as a boxscore shortly after the game.

Don't we agree in the year 2012 cheerleaders still being expected to give roses, cookies in the locker before games and provide special services for 'their player' is very outdated and 1950s Sexist? Maybe Patch should do a story on what these girls are directly and indirectly asked to provide for their assigned player

No, I do not agree. The boys are also learning that they need to show up for the girls in return, and went to their competitions.to cheer them on as well, even in direct conflict with other obligations some of them had. It just needs to be more balanced. So, actually, I think it's sweet, and all the girls I have spoken to enjoy supporting the team and being part of the game.
