#1. On Sunday in Springfield: Jessica Paquin, Sheila Tucke, Marilyn Frank, Roberta Connell, Catherine Ricketson, Philip McGee, Donal Siriani, Beverly Woods will represent Westford at the 2012 Massachusetts Democratic Party Endorsing Convention.
#2. Westford is Home to a Champion: Last week Westford Academy alumni Lauren Slattery became an NCAA champion as she and the rest of the Trinity College Bantams defeated Salisbury University in the Division III NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship.
Slattery (pictured to the right with teammate Kaitlin Hildebrand), played four games for the Bantams this year, but did not participate in the championship due to a recent concussion.
The team will be honored at Fenway Park on Friday night.
#3. Reminder for Blanchard School Parents: The seventh grade field trips to the Museum of Fine Arts will occur on June 5,6, and 7. The sixth grade field trip to Roll-on-America and the eighth grade field trip to Canobie Lake Park occur on June 8.
