Hello Westford! Here are your Five Things for today, Friday, Dec. 23.

#1. Update: We've been informed of some inaccuracies in statements made during this week's article about the zoning board, we've updated the article accordingly.

#2. Fire Fighter Tree Fundraiser: On January 7 and 8, the Westford Firefighter's Association is holding their annual tree collection fundraiser. On that weekend trees will be collected curbside for $10.00. More information is available at 978-392-0028.

#3. On Saturday Afternoon: We've been told that Boy Scout Troop 95 will be lighting their luminarias around the Town Common at 3:45.

  • Ashley Place (the whole neighborhood)
  • Kirsi Circle
  • Jack Rabbit Lane
  • Keyes Road
  • #4. And if You Need More Holiday Festivities: The Chabad Center will be holding a Chanukah Celebration on Christmas afternoon, also on the Town Common.

    #5. Christmas Eve Mass: On Christmas Eve, St. Mark's will have a 4 p.m. for a family service featuring a Christmas Pageant and Holy Eucharist. Children from the parish community perform in a nativity pageant based on the Gospels of Saint Luke and Saint Matthew.
