Cornerstone Beginning to Fill With Buildings, Tenants
More buildings and more tenants are coming to shopping center located just off 495 in the heart of Westford's commercially zoned area.
Westford Planning Board chairman Mike Green told Cornerstone Square representatives on Monday that he appreciated the fact that their development was "a moving target," but the target has been slowly coming into focus over the past few weeks.
Spokespeople with the development announced earlier this week that it has reached 80 percent tenancy, with a grand opening scheduled for November.
“The leasing interest has been incredible ever since the project was first announced,” said Dusty Burke, President & CEO of American Commercial Real Estate and leasing broker for Cornerstone Square . “Our tenants recognize the value of being a part of well-located, stylishly designed retail and medical office center, and want to be part of the excitement this development is creating.”
While details surrounding signage near entryways to the complex remain an open question under the debate by the Planning Board, the outer facade is now complete on the E2 (Panera) and F (Burton's Grill) buildings along Boston Road, with the outer structure of the A9 (Five Guys Burgers and Fries) and D3 Buildings (both pictured) moving forward.
Not all tenants who have signed lease agreements have been named as of yet, but recent named additions include Verizon, Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, and Dalla Nail Salon among earlier signed tenants such as Market Basket.
