A Westford Weekend: March 9 - 11

Here's some stuff to do in the area this weekend

 

Hello Westford! Looking for things to do? Look no further!

#1.

What: Family Matters - An Evening of One Act Plays

Where: The Parish Center for the Arts

When: Friday, March 9,  7:30 p.m.

You might be going to the PCA expecting the normal weekend barn dance or art gallery showing, but tonight the Lexington Players will be putting on a short play instead.

Tickets are $16, and $14 for students and the elderly.

#2.

What: Toe Jam Puppet Band and Fun Fair

Where: Westford Preschool

When: Saturday, March 10, 9:30 a.m.

Plenty of fun, including face painting, crafts, singing and games.

#3.

What: Zone 1 Equestrian Finals

Where: Volo Farm

When: All Weekend, mainly today

The best young horse riders in the region will be on Powers Road this weekend.

#4.

What: Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild Semifinals

Where: Westford Academy

When: Saturday, March 10, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Westford Academy Theater Arts troupe will seek a berth in the state finals of the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild competition as they compete against several other schools with their short performance of "The Hairy Ape"

Tickets are $10.

What: The Westford Winter FunFest Snowman/Sculpture Contest

Where: Your lawn or wherever there is snow

When: Now until March 17
