Westford Annual Fall FunFest and other Activities

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 13 (Rain date – Sun Oct 14) 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM for a day of activities, parades, food, entertainment, and contests. Some activities are FREE of charge while some have a cost. All the activities will be held at Kimball Farm on 400 Littleton Rd. Westford. Many different activities for children to adults will be offered.

• Annual Children’s Costume Parade 1:00 PM (special goody bags to the first 200 children; everyone will receive a treat)
• Special Entertainment through out the day starting at 10am - including:  Dance demonstrations by several local Dance  Groups including : Spotlight Dance Academy, Dance Center Unlimited of Chelmsford, and Studio Rhythm of Westford
• Special Show at 11:30 am  - ‘One Man Circus in a Suitcase’ from Circus Minimus at sponsored by Lowell
       General Hospital- (****see details below)
• Kids game area and train ride sponsored by Westford non-profits – opens at 10:00am  in Game Tent .
• Contests:  Scarecrow,  pumpkin decorating*, Haunted House decorating - check www.westford.com/funfest - for guidelines under contests.
• Fat Moon at Meadowbrook Farm – Large Pumpkin display, Farm Stand and sponsor of the *Pumpkin decorating contest.  
• Lowe’s Build a Kids Project Program sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell
• Mini golf, driving range, arcade, batting cages, bumper-boats, weather  permitting – Pick 5 Special.
• Food, ice cream and more will be available.
• Collection spot for used Halloween Costumes and Halloween accessories for the “From the Pumpkin Patch” organization. They collect and give out Halloween Costumes to low income families in the area. This year's costume give away will be held at the UMASS Lowell Inn and  Conference Center on Saturday, October27, 2012.  For details visit - www.fromthepumpkinpatch.org

****Lowell General Hospital presents a special performance of the 'One Man Circus in a Suitcase' from
Circus Minimus at 11:30 am on Sat, October 13^th at the Westford FunFest event at Kimball Farm. From Kevin O'Keefe's suitcase, an entire circus emerges ... a tent, the band, lights, the boisterous Steve Fitzpatrick,
the officious Mervin Merkle, the incredible Bumbilini Family, the Magician to the Stars, Clyde Zerbini, and Keefer -- an innocent trying to runaway and join the circus. However, the most important performers emerge from the audience
whereas each show becomes a dialogue between the characters and the audience - a light-hearted collaboration. This performance is free, open to the public and a great opportunity for families to participate in an enthralling,
